Posted on 08/15/2018

Mercer County Board of Social Services is pleased to announce the launch of a new website built with improved search functionality, an updated look, easy-to-use navigation tools, and for the first time, visitors can interact with mcboss.org on any device and digital screen because of its fully responsive construction, reflecting the growing number of consumers that access social services from a mobile device. The new website prioritizes information that is in high demand by Mercer County residents and makes it as simple as possible to access key services and programs within a few clicks.

New features include a list of services available through the "Services Offered" dropdown menu, links to online applications and self-screening tools, one-click access to contacting departments and links to community resources.

This new website will allow us to better communicate with customers and serves as a front door for people not yet familiar with the programs we provide to the community.

"We are excited to provide our residents, businesses, and community partners with this fresh and innovative venue with which to access important information about the services we provide. It's all here! Whether from Financial to Housing or Subsistence through Medicaid Assistance needed, the agency remains steadfast in its quest at ending homelessness and breaking the cycle of welfare dependency in Mercer County. The end state is for every Mercer County resident to be classified as "Self-Sufficient" .
